Time to Be Born

Andre Shanon was born on September 21st, 1952, to the late Gustav Sanon and Agnes Ecienne, in Port Au Prince Haiti. Andre was reared in a Catholic home in its early years.

Time for Education

Andre came to New York at the age of 16 and attended high school and college Andre also graduated from nursing school in New York.

Time for Work

Andre worked as a nurse in Queens, New York, at Bernard M. Fineson DDSO for 26 years and retired and moved to Tamarac, Florida, where he loved to go to the casinos.

Time for Family

Andre has a son, Andre Sanon Jr, from a previous marriage. On March 9, 2007, he married his beautiful wife, Shida Jenny Shanon, in Long Island, New York. They moved to Tamarac, Florida in 2015, where they resided until his death.

Time to Mourn

Andre was preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Agnes Sanon; brother, Eddie Sanon and sister, Micheline Sanon.Andre’s legacy is left to be cherished by his loving wife Shida; son , Andre Jr.; step-son, Ian Manoo; step-daughter Jennylyn Melville; brother, Edmaire Sanon; sister, Marie Sanon, brothers-in-law: Franky (Celia) and Rafeek; sisters-in-law Fedelia, Pearly, Ruffenier, Shaffina and Judy (Alvin); step-granddaughter, Hailey Melville; special nieces: Dinah and Dominique; and nephew, Neil. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
