Arthur James Switz III

Arthur James Switz III, born on May 12, 1955, in Passaic, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 8, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will continue to resonate with his family and friends.

Arthur was a devoted father to his daughter, Melissa, and embraced his son-in-law, Mayzer, as part of his family. He was a proud grandfather, finding joy in his grandchildren, Sophia Maria and Laila Rose. His sister, Joann, along with his nieces, Marielena and Joelle, mourn his loss, cherishing the moments they spent together.

Throughout his life, Arthur found happiness in various passions and hobbies. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and spend time outdoors. He was also an enthusiastic sportsman, taking delight in playing video golf and fervently supporting the New York Jets. Additionally, Arthur had a fondness for watching golf, which became a beloved pastime. His love for westerns was another defining aspect of his personality, bringing him comfort and entertainment.

Arthur was an active member of the Moose Lodge (#2267), where he fostered friendships and camaraderie with fellow members. His warm spirit and friendly demeanor touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Elaine and Arthur Switz, and his brother, David. Their memories remain an integral part of his story, and he will be remembered with affection by all who knew him.

A viewing for Arthur will be held on October 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation, located at 1450 S. State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
