Concetta (Connie) M. Barnes 791 of Nettles Island, Jensen Beach, FL passed away on Friday, August 7th, 2020 shortly after being admitted to NW Medical Center, Margate, FL.

Connie was born on September 25th, 1940 in Watertown, NY to Joseph and Marie Biondolillo. She attended Watertown High School and graduated in 1958. She went on to attend Albany State College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1961.

Connie married Harvey L. Barnes and they settled in Jordan-Elbridge, NY. The couple had five cherished children, Brian, who was deceased in 2014, (mother of children, Cheryl), Pamela, (husband, the late Tony Erario), Paula, Karen (husband, Mark Hemler) and son David (wife Vanessa). Connie preceded by death her only brother Bart Biondolillo (wife, Donna). Connie had 5 wonderful grandchildren: Jeremy, (wife, Ketrese), Christa, (husband, Alberto), Cameron (wife, Taylor), Jessica and Casey. Connie was blessed to have 4 great grandchildren: Christian, Isabelle, Emma and Chloe. They are all residing in Florida. She was also a dear Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.

Connie worked for US Airways for 20 years in Syracuse NY and transferred to Winston Salem, NC and resided there until she retired in 2005. She then moved to her beach bungalow in Jensen Beach, FL where she resided until the present time. She was managing partner of Spin Win Arcade in Port St. Lucie, FL with her son and co-owner, David Barnes.

Connie served on the Red Cross Community Council Swim Program for Elbridge NY for 15 years. She was a member of Nettles Island Tennis Club.

Her greatest joy was making memories with family and friends. Connie’s passion was to travel around the world and she was known as the “Queen of Cruising”!

The family is planning a “Celebration of Life”, in her honor at Shuckers Restaurant, in Jensen Beach, Florida, August 22, 2020 by reservations through the family only.
