Edward Paisley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Alexander Paisley on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the age of 68.

Eddie was born on December 22, 1958, to James and Ani Paisley. He was one of eight siblings and shared close bonds with his brothers Robert, Michael, and Ashanti, and his sisters Paula, Diana, Marilyn and Joanne. He also leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews, including Camille, Tracey, Glenn Jr., and Karegaand many others.

He was a loving father and leaves behind his four children—Nakita, Shanika, Erica, and Laquan—who were truly the center of his world. He was also a proud grandfather to Nakaylah, Rasheed, Johari, and Jrue, who brought him so much joy.

Known to many as Eddie, “Ponytail,” or “Eddie Garbage,” he was someone loved by all for his presence, his stories, and simply the comfort of being around him. He built strong connections throughout his life and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Eddie was deeply loved, and his absence will be felt in the everyday moments, the conversations, and in the memories he leaves behind.
