FLORENCE (Flo) M. CREA, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away on April 13th, 2022, after a very brief battle with Pancreatic Cancer, that took her way too soon. Born to Anthony and Rose Crea of the Bronx, NY. Flo was a graduate of St. Catharine Academy in the Bronx. She has been a long-time resident of Florida and spent her career as a legal administrative assistant, working at the law office of Stephen Onuska, and most recently for the law firm of Kubicki Draper, Ft. Lauderdale Office, where she recently retired after 15 years of service. Flo enjoyed her time at Kubicki Draper working with a wonderful group of colleagues and has made long lasting friendships over the years.
Flo passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and close friends.
She was kind, loving, caring, generous, stubborn, and fierce woman. She was an advocate for those less fortunate and an active member of her community. She was a true organizer of so many fundraisers, and community dances and gatherings. She will be missed by so many, especially her family and close friends, who she always referred to as her family.
She is survived by her sister Jolaine Zito and husband Vincent Zito; her brother Rocco and sister-in-law Patricia Crea; her sister Maryann Dooley; her niece Jaime Borman and husband Tim Borman; her nephew Adam Zito and Matthew Nolfo; her niece Brooke Crea and Dermott O’Sullivan; her nephew Matthew Crea; and last but not least and very dear to her heart, her great nephew Carter Borman and great niece Rylee Borman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her much loved brother-in-law Gerry Dooley, the late husband of her sister Maryann.
Flo may the road you take be blessed with peace, love and light and at the end be filled with loved ones lost before you.
We love you and will miss you.
Service for Flo Crea will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Serenity Funeral Home, 1450 S. State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
