Glenn Falcey

November 9, 1951 — September 22, 2025

Pompano Beach

Glenn Edward Falcey of Pompano Beach FL entered the loving arms of God peacefully at home on Monday, September 22, 2025. He fought a brave battle against cancer for over a year, and he is now at rest. He was born in Trenton NJ on November 9, 1951, resided in New Jersey in the Mountain View section of Ewing, Chambersburg, Lawrenceville, Beach Haven, Brick, and Point Pleasant, then moved to Fort Lauderdale FL.

Grandson of Simon & Geneva (Harris) Falcey and Salvatore & Marie (Commiso) DeAngelo. Son of Edward Patrick & Sophie (Belle) Falcey. Pre-deceased by them, by many loving aunts & uncles who helped nurture and guide him throughout his life, and by his dear sister Jan Sochalski and her husband Henry ‘Butch’ Sochalski. Survived by his brother Gary Falcey (Kathy), by five nieces and nephews (Brianne Nixon, Thomas Nixon, Shea Falcey, Nicole Lombardi, Nina Talone), by four great-nieces & great-nephews (Aubrey Lynn Martin, Abigail Nixon, Landyn Lombardi, Tyler Talone), by many beloved cousins, by even more dear friends (if you were Glenn’s friend, you have probably been friends for life), and by his life partner of 22 years and husband Dennis D’Angio. Thanks also to Hernan Ceillan, without whose compassionate help the past few years would have been intolerable.

Glenn attended Admiral Farragut Military Academy, then graduated from Ewing High School in 1969. He went on to complete his Engineering studies at Mercer County Community College, Trenton State College, and Rutgers University.

For 30 years he worked as an Engineer for the New Jersey Department of Transportation, simultaneously owning and operating Lawrenceville Ski & Patio for 20 years and Reliable Landscaping for 15. He then retired from the State, sold his businesses, and worked in the private sector for 10 years as Division Director of Operations for Maser Consulting, an Engineering firm in Red Bank owned by his long-time friend Richard Maser. Glenn finally retired for good at age 58 and moved to Florida full-time.

Glenn was a Licensed NJ Realtor for many years. Some of his passions included skiing, traveling throughout the United States and around the world, grilling/dining by the water, his cars, music (he especially loved oldies and Motown), watching boats go by, old movies (especially Westerns and the Godfather Trilogy), and vintage TV (Westerns again, old crime shows, etc.).

In April of 2019, Glenn received a kidney transplant from a living donor, which gave him six bonus years to enjoy life. He would ask that you please consider organ donation, either while you are alive (should the opportunity present itself) or after you pass (‘Organ Donor’ noted on your driver’s license).

In lieu of flowers, if you feel inclined to make a donation please do so online to Breakthrough T 1 D (formerly JDRF - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
