James Michael Walsh

James Michael Walsh, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and resided in Pompano Beach, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2006. Jay was a gentle, kind-hearted man who loved people and cherished conversation. While compassionate by nature, he would fiercely stand up for anyone he felt was being treated unfairly. 

He had an adventurous spirit and a passion for travel, often insisting on boarding a local train with no destination in mind just to see where it would lead. He loved his family, cooking, and above all, his husband, Michael, who survives him. Jay's warmth, curiosity, loyalty, and love will be remembered by all who knew him.

To honor Jay, he requested donations to be made to his favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ("www.stjude.org) and the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast (www.hstc1.org).
