John Zeballos Sanchez, 1944 – 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Sanchez, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 81.

Born on June 22, 1944 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, John Sanchez was the beloved son of Froilan Sanchez and Effie Sanchez. He was a devoted husband to Barbara and a loving father to Carlos and Patricia (deceased).

John Sanchez had a 26-year career in the US Air Force where he completed tours across the globe including Vietnam, Panama, El Salvador, Venezuela and Saudi Arabia before retiring in 1994 at his last station in MacDill Air Force Base. He received numerous commendations for his service and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant.

In retirement, John loved his daily walks and visiting with family. He always had a smile on his face and his energy and enthusiasm were appreciated by many.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, son Carlos, daughter-in-law Melissa and his grandchildren Landon, Tatum and Charlotte. He was one of five brothers and enjoyed his time with Tito (deceased), Elmar, Enrique (deceased) and Nelson.

A service will be held at South Florida National Cemetery.

We will miss him dearly and cherish the memories we have of him.
