Josephine Pancho

Josie Banawa Pancho, 75, of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away at Broward General Hospital (formerly Coral Springs Medical Center) on February 1st. She leaves a void her family cannot ever truly fill.

She was born in Candelaria in 1950 to Caridad Banawa and Dr. Silvestre Banawa, the 4th of six siblings. Josie attended Philippine Women’s University and majored as a Medical Technologist. 

Her career path eventually brought her to Coral Springs Medical Center, where she worked for 30 years before retiring as a Senior Lab Tech.Josie is survived by Armando, her husband of 48 beautiful years.

She is also survived by Aaron and Amanda — her son and daughter, her pride and joy. 

Her three beloved grandchildren — Ellie, Daniel, and Lennon — also brought endless happiness to her life.

Her family will never forget the love, warmth, and support she always provided them. The memorial funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 20th @ 10:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Heaven cemetery.
