Kerim Saatci

Kerim Saatci, 53, was born on January 1, 1973, in Hemşin, Rize, Turkey, to Mehmet and Mesture Saatci. He was one of nine children and grew up surrounded by the love and support of his large family. At just 19 years old, he came to the United States in pursuit of the American dream, carrying with him a strong work ethic, unwavering determination, and a heart full of hope.

He began his journey working aboard cruise ships, a chapter of his life that he cherished deeply. During those years, he met the love of his life, Sue. Together, they built a beautiful life and successful business in Florida, creating a loving home and a family filled with happiness and laughter.

Kerim was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, and loyal friend. He was the proud father of two daughters, Yagmur and Yasmin, who were among his greatest joys and accomplishments.

Known for his generous spirit and kind heart, Kerim truly lived up to the meaning of his name. In Turkish, “Kerim” means generous and kind—qualities that perfectly described the man he was. Everyone who knew him spoke of his pure heart, sense of humor, and genuine warmth. He was hardworking, determined, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him.

 His heart of gold and remarkable character left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.Kerim found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved fishing, traveling, swimming, and spending quality time with family and friends. Whether gathered around a board game, sharing stories, or enjoying a meal together, he treasured every moment spent with those he loved.
