Kevin O'Keefe

Kevin Patrick O’Keefe, age 63 of Sunrise, Florida passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer and astonished everyone with his valiant fight. He was born to Lucille and Dennis O’Keefe on July 24, 1958 in Virginia. Kevin was raised in both Virginia and Buffalo, New York. He has lived in Sunrise, Florida for the past 40 years.

Kevin loved music, crossword puzzles and was a very talented drummer, with a passion for jazz and rock and roll. Kevin enjoyed playing the drums for long hours. Also enjoyed working out by cutting the lawn and in his younger years playing basketball. He won awards for his accomplishments in the Air Conditioning business, and was the lead salesman for several consecutive years, as he was nicknamed “The Dude from Ruud”. He will be most remembered for being a loving and caring husband, father, brother and son.

Survived by his mother Lucille, wife Linda, children Brian and Kayla, grandson Connor and siblings Kathi, Dennis, Moira, John, and Tim.

His legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held from 11am to 1pm. Service will start at 12pm at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation.
