Lucile A. Pelliccione

December 1, 1943 – September 25, 2025

With hearts full of sorrow and love that words can scarcely contain, we announce the passing of Lucile A. Pelliccione, a devoted wife, nurturing mother, adoring Nanny and great grandmother, friend and a woman whose life was a testament to unwavering faith, quiet strength, and boundless love. Surrounded by the grace she lived by every day, Lucile was called home, leaving behind a legacy that will echo through time.

Lucile was born on December 1, 1943, in Harlem, New York, to Rocco and Concetta Pastore. From an early age, she was wrapped in the warmth of a close knit family, growing up alongside her beloved siblings Ann and Ralph. Together, they built a childhood rich in memories filled with laughter, love, and the values of faith, humility, and service that would shape the woman she became.

Her journey led her to Brooklyn and later to Massapequa where her heart bloomed and she built her most treasured life’s work: her family. In time, she and her beloved husband of 41 years, Frank Pelliccione, retired to Margate, Florida, where their deep love continued to shine a partnership rooted in faith, loyalty, and enduring friendship. Frank was not only her husband but her soulmate, her anchor, and the love of her life.

Lucile’s greatest joy and her most sacred calling was being a mother. She poured her soul into raising her six children: Gina Goldsmith (her late fiancé Hank and late former husband Alan) Frank Pelliccione (wife, Marie), Michael Pelliccione (wife, Colleen), Linda Fricano, Donna O’Rourke (her late husband Brian) and Sandra Gitto. Her love for them knew no limits. That same fierce, tender love extended to her ten grandchildren—Michael, Kyle, Jared, Victoria, Kaitlin, Dustin, Christian, Matthew, Andrew, and Haley—and to her precious great-grandson, Grayson, each of whom she cherished beyond measure. She is also survived by her brother in law Mario his wife Barbara and countless nieces and nephews and cousins. She celebrated their every joy and carried their every sorrow as her own.

Lucile wore many hats throughout her life—insurance consultant, florist, banking professional—but it was never the title that defined her. It was the way she did everything: with grace, humility, and an unmatched work ethic. Her floral arrangements were an extension of her soul—vibrant, full of life, and carefully crafted with love. No matter the job, she brought beauty and care into everything she touched.

At the very center of Lucile life was her deep and abiding Catholic faith. She was a devoted parishioner who lived her beliefs not only in prayer but in action. Whether volunteering at church events, comforting the lonely in nursing homes, or simply offering a kind word to a stranger, Lucille lived the Gospel every single day. She and Frank were tireless in their devotion, even in retirement—snowbirds never far from their faith community.

Lucile had a special way of making everyone feel at home. She carried peace in her presence and strength in her silence. Never one to complain, she met life’s challenges with quiet courage and unshakable faith. She found joy in the simplest things a perfectly cooked meal, a shared laugh, a Sunday at church and gave of herself freely, without ever asking for anything in return.

One of Lucile most treasured traditions was hosting the Pastore Family Picnic, an annual gathering that blossomed under her loving care. What began as a family event grew into something much greater a symbol of community, love, and belonging. Every detail was handled with devotion, and every dish especially her legendary meatballs was made with the kind of love only she could give. Her kitchen was her sacred space, and through her food, she nourished not only bodies, but hearts.

Lucile leaves behind more than memories she leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will live on in the lives of everyone she touched. Her life was a gift, and though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the time we had with her.

She was our matriarch, our guiding light, our prayer warrior. Her love was the glue that held us all together. And now, as she rests in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her, we take comfort in knowing that heaven is brighter because she is there.

She will be missed beyond words, remembered always, and loved forever.
