Luna Leanora Bennett passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on March 16th, after a long and well lived life.
She was an extraordinary woman! She was born on April 5, 1948, in St. Catherine Jamaica. She was a kind and loving individual, who pursued a career as a Home Health Aide. While in Jamaica she met her husband Mr. James Brown. They got married and the the union produced six children: Ewan Brady, Karen Clarke, Sharon Brown Irving, Nicola Slater, Kewin Brown and Leo Brown.
Luna later moved to Florida and subsequently met her partner Everton Edwards. As a mother, Luna was deeply devoted to her family and strongly advocated for unity. She demonstrated unconditional love for her children and grandchildren.
She made many sacrifices, lots of sweat and tears. A very caring individual who is always ready and willing to help those in need. She was loved and adored by all those who knew her, especially her kids. Luna loved life and lived it with a purpose. She loved to dance, play ludo and watch African movies.
Luna is survived by her partner Everton Edwards, her six children, eighteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two brothers, one sister and a host of other relatives and friends.
She will be deeply missed, but her memories will always be in our hearts, and her legacy will forever live on.
