Mark Klages

Mark Klages, 64, of Cornelia, GA passed away suddenly in the early hours of June 9th 2025.

Born on November 20th 1960 in Atlantic City, NJ, Mark lived a colorful life full of love, family, and wonderful friendships. He spent over 50 years in south Florida, living as a mentor, a coach, a father, a husband, and a man of great faith. Mark had a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he was steadfast in his beliefs. He was a man of great integrity, and was always striving to provide for and protect the people he held most dear. During the week, he would devote his full attention to his work as a controller and CFO, and on the weekends he would be found cheering on Notre Dame and enjoying the company of his wife and two dogs. Mark loved a nice bottle of red, Led Zeppelin, baseball trivia, and a good Irish jig.

He was predeceased by his mother Bonnie, his father Robert, and his dear aunt Leslie. He is survived by his wife Misty, his daughter Rebecca (Ka’deem), his son Robert (Allie), his stepdaughter Jordan (Brian), and his dogs Maggie Mae and Willy. He is also survived by his cousins Patti (Jim), Jeanne (Tom), and Kathy, and his close friends Glen “Charmies”, Dan, Glenn, and Joe. His legacy will live on through his many beloved family members, friends, coworkers, and those whose lives were touched by him throughout his lifetime.
