Celebrating the Life of Maud Felix Polynice
Maud Felix Polynice was born in St. Marc, Haiti, to Palmira (Sejour) Felix and Gonzalez Felix. She was the fifth of ten children and was preceded in death by her beloved siblings Gerard Felix, Jean Claude Felix, and Marie Felix. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings: Guy Felix, Evelyn Felix, Fritz Felix, Hans Felix, Serge Felix, and Marcel Felix.
In 1965, Maud immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts and she later settled in North Miami, Florida, where she raised her three cherished children and made her lasting home. Maud devoted her professional life to education, serving as a compassionate and dedicated educator within the Miami-Dade School System.
Guided by her unwavering faith and God-given gifts, she went on to touch countless lives in Florida and beyond through charismatic prayer, faith-based care, and spiritual support. She believed deeply in the power of prayer, healing, and obedience to God’s call, and she lived that belief boldly.
Maud was known for her joy—she loved to dance, to laugh, and to gather with family. Nothing brought her greater happiness than time spent with her children: Ronald Felix (Dionne), Martine Polynice-Jackson (Michaelis - deceased), and Patrick Polynice (Kayah). She was a devoted and proud grandmother to her six grandchildren: Arielle, Alexandria, Julien, Tjana, Morgan, and Gavin, each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and joy. She is also fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and all those she embraced as family through faith.
Maud will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on—in the lives she nurtured, the prayers she prayed, the faith she modeled, and the love she poured out so freely. She lived her life trusting God, serving others, and walking faithfully in her calling.
