Michael E Rico

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael E Rico, who passed away on June 1st, 2026 at the age of 76.

Michael was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, strength, and love touched the lives of many. Whether gathered around the dinner table sharing stories, enjoying an espresso, or celebrating his Italian heritage, he embraced life's simple pleasures with warmth and gratitude. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, and dedication to family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmela Rico; his father, Egidio Rico; his brothers, Carmen Rico, & Vincent Rico; his sister, Maria Iantorno; and his son, Vincent Rico.

He is survived by his loving children: Michael Rico, Nicholas Rico, and Gina Buccinna; his cherished grandson, Michael Buccinna; as well as many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to his family. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those around him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on June 13th at 10:00am at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
