Mike Alexander Grajales

October 6, 2005 — May 16, 2025

Delray Beach

Mike “Big Mike” Grajales, age 19, of Boynton Beach, gained his wings on May 16, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born on October 6, 2005, Mike was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him. A proud cadet with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Mikey carried himself with unmatched dedication, integrity, and discipline. He followed every policy and procedure with purpose—not just because it was required, but because he truly believed in serving and protecting others with honor.

Known affectionately as “Big Mike,” he brought strength, warmth, and calm wherever he went. In his family, he was our peace. Tranquility is the word that best captures who he was: calm in the storm, poised in every moment, and always carrying himself with a quiet grace beyond his years.

To know Mikey was to feel cared for. He had a gift for making people feel seen, loved, and safe. Whether through a quiet conversation or a heartfelt smile, he touched every heart he came across—and left each one better than he found it.

Mike is survived by his loving family, including parents Yomaira Grajales and Oscar Grajales Sr.; brother Oscar Grajales Jr. (Brett Browning); and his partner Andrea Parra; along with countless friends, mentors, and his brothers and sisters in the PBSO community who became an extension of his heart.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 10AM to 2PM at Serenity Funeral Home in North Lauderdale, FL. All who knew and loved Mikey are welcome. Please wear white in honor of his journey—we are all a part of Mikey G getting his wings.

Gone too soon, but loved forever.

Fly high, our beautiful soul. Your light lives on.
