The Frias family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Milady, who was called home to our loving Father on July 21, 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by her family. Affectionately known to her children as M’s, she was the cornerstone of our family and a true pillar of strength. Her unwavering devotion was a constant source of love for all of us.
To know M’s was to know a woman who valued hard work and was never afraid to take risks. She took great joy in sharing the story of her accomplishments—how she rose from humble beginnings to build and manage her own real estate business. Though quiet and private, she loved hosting Sunday dinners after church with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, watching her favorite novelas, and keeping up with the news and current events. Above all, her proudest achievement was the love she poured into her family, and she never missed an opportunity to speak proudly of her children.
Her spirit and values will live on through her children, Jesus, Jose, and Yvette; her grandchildren, Desiree, Andrew, and Jennifer; and her great-grandchildren, Arriana, Adriano, Damiano, and Elisa. She joins in eternal peace her late husband, Jose Joaquin, and her beloved, mother Edita, whom she cherished for the rest of her days.
We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in celebrating her beautiful life on July 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation, 1450 S. State Rd. 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
A funeral Mass will follow at the chapel of Our Lady Queen of Heaven, 1500 S. State Rd. 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
Please come and share your favorite stories and memories of our remarkable mother.
