Nelly Haydee Ordoñez Roman, 83, of Margate, Florida, passed away on May 29, 2023.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, June 1st 2023 from 11 to 3:30 pm, at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center (1450 South State Road 7, N. Lauderdale, FL 33068).

Her burial will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, located at

1500 South SR 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.

Nelly was born in Lima, Peru to Luis Augusto Ordóñez Salas and María Enriqueta Román de Ordóñez. She was married to Gustavo Duffaut del Pino on April 11, 1962.

Our beloved Nelly loved spending time with her family, friends, and visiting the Holy Sacrament in the chapel.

She liked to knit, embroider and decorate her house, but was also passionate about business and sales. And even with her busy work and social life, her priority was always her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, Alfredo, Patricia, Gustavo, and Rafael, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Nelly will be forever missed by many family and friends but will remain with us in our hearts and memories.
