Richele Marie Manges Faris, 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Davie, Florida on June 30, following a fourteen-month illness. She devoted her life to caring for others, both as a dedicated daughter, wife, and mother, and as a compassionate registered nurse.
She was a beloved wife to Brian R. Faris for 34 years, a loving mother to Scott Faris, Sophie Faris, and Briana Gattis (Faris) and the proud mother-in-law of Joshua Gattis. Her family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her parents, Kathleen Manges (Russic) and Richard Manges, as well as her mother-in-law, Goldie Faris. Her brothers- and sisters-in-law and cousins will greatly miss her.
Richele was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Olive Manges (Bowers) and Frances Russic (Abramowich), and her father-in-law, John Faris.
A Divine Liturgy for the Faithful Departed will be held at Heart of Jesus Maronite Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL on July 11 at 11 am. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Heart of Jesus Church or the Humane Society of Broward County in Richele's memory, honoring her love for animals, her faith, and her spirit of generosity.
Richele's legacy of kindness, humor, warmth, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
