Bob was born in Greensburg, PA in 1943. He lived a life of kindness, humility, curiosity, and a deep love for family. He pursued his passion for design and learning at Carnegie Mellon University, where he got his masters degrees in architecture. It was his love of the world and people that pulled us to him.

Bob had a lifelong love of history, reading, classical music, and recently Shakespeare! He was a thoughtful student of the world, always eager to learn something new and share it with others. Among his greatest joys were traveling with his beloved wife, Judy, and recounting the stories and experiences they collected along the way.

Anyone who knew Bob knew his gift for storytelling. He could become completely immersed in a memory, bringing the past to life with vivid detail and heartfelt reflection. His stories were more than recollections, they were expressions of his love for people, places, and moments that mattered.

Among his favorite stories to tell were how he met his wife Judy, on a trip to Venezuela to study architecture with classmates. Or the rush of driving down a country road only to be stopped by crossing cows.

Those fortunate enough to listen often found themselves transported into another time.

Above all, Bob was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Judy; his sons, Sergio and Oliver; his sister Mimi; and his brother Jon. His love,  wisdom, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

His stories, smile, and laughter will live on through his family and with us the stories we tell of him and his abundant life.

He was a kind and gentle soul. "An angel that was given to me.", his wife Judy always says.
