Today we honor and remember the life of a man who was truly the heart and foundation of our family. A devoted grandfather, father, and friend, he passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and deep devotion to those around him.
Born in Cuba, he came to the United States with determination and hope for a better future. Through perseverance and dedication, he built a life rooted in family, community, and service. In Hempstead, he proudly ran his bodega, where he became more than just a business owner, he became a familiar face, a helping hand, and a friend to many.
To his family, he was the king, the head honcho, and the steady presence that kept everyone grounded. His love showed in the little things that meant so much. If he knew you, you could count on receiving a card from him for every holiday, his way of making sure no one ever felt forgotten.
His kindness, strength, and unwavering love shaped the lives of those around him. He created a family built on loyalty, laughter, and care for one another. Though his passing leaves a space that can never truly be filled, the lessons he taught and the love he gave will live on through his children, grandchildren, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
As we grieve this tremendous loss, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived and the impact he made. His legacy will continue in every story shared, every tradition carried on, and every act of love within our family.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
