Obituary

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.”2 Timothy 4:7–8

With heavy hearts we announce that Salvador Ramos passed away at his home in Sunny Isles on November 4th 2025, at the age of 67. Born on September 20th in Havana Cuba he was the beloved son of Salvador Ramos and Rosa Martinez Ramos.

Sal was a remarkable man whose life reflected faith, courage, and generosity. He possessed a steadfast determination and an unwavering trust in God that guided him through every challenge. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his son Daniel Ramos, sister Teresa Ramos, cousins Gloria and Willie Melendez, godson Jason Melendez, nephew Ariel Melendez, and loving great-nephews and nieces.

After graduating high school, Sal enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served with honor and courage. He was wounded in action while saving a fellow soldier and was honorably discharged. His bravery and selflessness in service became a defining mark of his character.

Upon returning home, Sal continued his commitment to protecting others by joining the Pompano Beach Police Department, where he served with integrity and purpose. Later, his drive and entrepreneurial spirit led him into real estate development and project management, where he discovered a new calling — building homes and shaping communities.

Those who knew Sal will remember him as a man of faith, honor, and determination. Yet above all, they will remember his heart — his boundless generosity, his devotion to family, and his readiness to help those around him.

Sal was a devoted father and loving son and his legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the values he instilled. His laughter, wisdom, and compassion will continue to echo in the hearts of all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life Service to honor Salvador Ramos will be held on Tuesday, November 18 at 12:30pm at Serenity Funeral Home in Margate (1450 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068). Interment will follow beside his beloved parents at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 2pm. (1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068).

Though Sal’s physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit remains eternal. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him, and may he rest in everlasting peace in the house of our Lord.
