Shek Yiu Fong (方錫堯) was born and raised in China. He led a remarkable life, always seeking new experiences and opportunities. In Hong Kong, he met his beloved wife Amy, and the two embarked on a journey together that would take them to the United States.

In the early 70s, Shek Yiu Fong and Amy immigrated to the United States, where they started a new chapter of their lives. They lived in various states before finally settling in South Florida with their children, Stanley and Shirley. It was in South Florida that Shek Yiu Fong would make his home for the remaining years of his life.

Throughout his career, Shek Yiu Fong owned several Chinese restaurants, leaving a mark on the culinary scene in South Florida. His passion for food and dedication as a cook/chef earned him the admiration of many. Even after closing his own restaurants, he continued to work as a cook/chef for various Chinese restaurants in the area.

Shek Yiu Fong will be deeply missed by his wife Amy Fong (方梁潤梅), his son Stanley Fong (方效賢), his daughter Shirley Fong Badillo (方效潔), his son-in-law Carlos Badillo, daughter-in-law Ruby Hypes, grandson Charlie Badillo, grandson Mathias Fong Badillo (方偉業), granddaughter Maia Badillo (方文文), as well as his two older sisters Suzhen Fang (方素貞) and So Mei Woo (方素美). He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to being a dedicated family man, Shek Yiu Fong has impacted the lives of many through his hard work and generosity. His warm smile and kind nature touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we bid farewell to Shek Yiu Fong, we cherish the memories he leaves behind and celebrate the legacy he created. His unwavering love for his family and his contributions to the community will forever be remembered. May his soul find eternal peace and may his loved ones find comfort in the cherished moments they shared with him.
