Stefania Curino
June 9, 1959 – February 27, 2026
With profound sorrow and endless love, we announce the unexpected passing of Stefania Curino at the age of 66.
Born in Rome, Italy, on June 9, 1959, Stefania carried the beauty, strength, and spirit of her homeland wherever life took her. In 1996, she moved to the United States with her beloved husband, Luigi, where together they built both a new life and a shared dream. Side by side, they owned and operated a wine import company, working as true partners in business and in love. She was his everything, just as he was hers.
After Luigi’s passing, Stefania demonstrated extraordinary resilience. With grace and quiet determination, she continued forward, later helping her daughter, Daisy, build her own path in the wine industry. Her wisdom, intuition, and unwavering belief became the foundation of that journey. She was not only a mother, but a mentor and guiding light.
Stefania was strong, charming, deeply intuitive, and exceptionally intelligent. She had a natural ability to solve problems and an even greater gift for listening. Friends and family sought her out for advice, comfort, and reassurance. She met life’s challenges with dignity and strength.
Beyond her professional life, Stefania found joy in crafting, knitting, and creating meaningful keepsakes for those she loved. Many friends and family members treasure handmade pieces touched by her care and creativity. She also adored her cats, who brought her companionship and comfort. She was also an avid Miami Dolphins fan, proudly cheering on her team and rarely missing a game — a spirited tradition that brought her joy.
Her greatest pride was her daughter, Daisy. Their bond was profound — rooted in heritage, resilience, shared ambition, and unconditional love.
Stefania leaves behind her loving daughter, Daisy Penzo; her son-in-law, Johnny Wall; her mother, Mafalda, and her beloved brother, Carlo, both in Italy; more extended family across Italy and the United States; dear friends; and all who were blessed to know her.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy of love, courage, partnership, and quiet brilliance will live on in the lives she shaped and the hearts she held.
Riposa in pace, Mamma.
