A mother of four, Zeldha Yves Antonie Loiseau lived her life out loud. Messy, vibrant, unpredictable, and full of stories that could make you laugh until you cried or cry until you laughed, she was complicated in all the ways that make a person real. She had a sharp tongue, a soft heart, and a spirit that refused to be quiet, even when life tried its hardest to silence her.
Life didn’t go easy on her. She faced more than her fair share of struggles, hard days, harder nights, and moments that would have broken many people, but she had a way of taking what she was given and making something out of it, even if it wasn’t perfect. Especially if it wasn’t perfect. She found humor in the chaos, strength in the struggle, and somehow kept going–even when her body grew tired and illness tried to slow her down.
She loved her children fiercely, creating four lives shaped by her laughter, her lessons, her stubbornness, and her love. She didn’t always get it right, and she would be the first to admit that, but she showed up in the ways that mattered: with honesty, with fire, and with a kind of love that never pretended to be anything other than real.
She was unapologetically funny. Sometimes wildly funny. The kind of funny that caught you off guard, lingered in your memory, and became the stories you would tell over and over again. Even in her hardest moments, even when she was sick, she could still find something to laugh about, and more importantly, she made sure the people around her could too.
She taught her children not only how to survive, but how to live with grit, with humor, and with heart. She showed them that strength doesn’t always look graceful, that love isn’t always neat, and that even a broken road can still lead somewhere meaningful.
She leaves behind a legacy that isn’t polished, but is powerful. It lives in the resilience of her children, in their laughter, in the memories of family and friends, and in the countless little pieces of her that they carry forward every day.She was complicated. She was chaotic. She was deeply, imperfectly, beautifully human.
And she was theirs.
